What Is The Campership Fund?
The Campership Fund enables us to provide every child the chance to attend overnight camp regardless of their financial circumstances. With the support of many individuals, corporate sponsors, and foundations, Agassiz Village can ensure that programs are affordable and attainable for all families.

How It Works
Families in need apply for financial aid, with the amount determined by family income. When possible, families pay what they can towards tuition, as this gives them a stronger commitment and responsibility towards the program.

What Impact Does Your Donation Have?
A gift of $250 can provide a scholarship for a child to attend one session; a full scholarship for the summer is $1,000..

What’s Our Goal?
If we can raise $150,000 every year we can provide financial support to 600 campers this year. 

 Here is how you can help:

Giving Circles:  Whether you personally or your company can sponsor many children at one level or can connect with friends, co-workers, neighbors to reach a level, you will have an impact on each child that is supported by the Campership Fund.   

Your group can support the campers that have applied and been approved through the Campership Fund (based on family income and need) or you can target communities that your circle of giving would like to sponsor.  Examples include:

• Neighborhoods:  at-risk or low income communities; your own neighborhood; your own school or agency
• At-risk populations:  children in foster care; in homeless shelters or transitional living situations; families involved with state social services
• Lost income or resources:  We have already received an increase in requests from families whose parent has lost a job, or who have lost support from other agencies or services due to cuts
• Age Groups:  We have programs for ages 8-17, including a Teen Leadership Program for 14-17 year olds. 
• Special Needs or Special Circumstances 

 1935 SOCIETY:  $25,000                      Endows 2 camperships each year forever 

GOLD CIRCLE:  $10,000                        Sponsors 40 campers 

SILVER CIRCLE:  $5,000                        Sponsors 20 campers 

BRONZE                                                   Sponsors 10 campers

OR CORPORATE CIRCLE:  $2,500              

 AV FRIENDS CIRCLE:  $1,000              Sponsors 4 campers

 INDIVIDUAL SPONSOR:  $250             Sponsors a camper for an enriching session at camp
